Beautiful Nails:

Everyone wants nails to be proud of so if yours are less than perfect here are a few quick tips to get them in great condition in no time.

Apply nail varnish remover before doing your nails even if don’t need to remove any old polish, it prepares the nails by removing any grease so that your polish will last longer If you’re having trouble achieving the perfect French Manicure try using a white nail pencil underneath the nail tip instead of white polish you’ll find it’s much easier Give your nail varnish plenty of time for each layer to dry to ensure a lasting finish. If you’re likely to get impatient waiting around opt for a quick drying formula like Lancôme Vernis Instant Magnetic or L’Oreal Jet Set Always wipe the top of the nail varnish bottle with a cotton bud to get rid of any excess polish, this will prevent the bottle from becoming glued shut Lots of beauty companies have nail polishes available with matching lip color for whose seeking a totally co-ordinate look, ask at your local beauty counter Remember it’s much better to apply lots of thin coats of color rather that one thick one, it will dry quicker and last longer Try not to remove and reapply polish more than once or twice a week, as it will dry out your nails. Choosing a remover with built in moisturizers will help limit the damage A hand massage will boost your circulation and encourage nail growth and is the perfect way to pamper yourself.

Summer and Skin

Hydration

Be sure to drink enough fluid. Just because you are not thirsty doesn't mean you don't need water. Even a slight deficit reduces circulation, dries out your lips and causes fatigue. Plus, inadequate water intake encourages fluid retention, which leads to bloating and puffy under eye areas -- all bad news for your looks. So drink up. Nutritionists say, at least one half ounce daily for every pound of body weight. For the average person, that's eight glasses a day.

Also, frequent showering and summer activities like swimming will dry out your skin. So the moisturizers and body lotions are just as important now as in winter.

Nutrition

Hot weather means the additional loss of vitamins and minerals through perspiration. This can leave your skin vulnerable to environmental stress. Replace what you've lost by taking a multivitamin daily. And insist on rich vitamin A and E content in your skincare products. These may be listed as retinyl palmitate and tocopheryl acetate in the ingredient statement.

Skin Care

The key to a natural, breezy beauty lies in the care of your complexion, not the makeup you put on top of it. Every night you should follow the same basic skin care regimen. Steam your pores open with a hot washcloth, and then apply a glycerin based cleanser (they're easier on the skin). Use an alcohol-free toner. I prefer astringents with natural Witch Hazel, to remove residue, tighten pores and rebalance the skin. And don't forget to moisturize! Performed routinely, these skin care fundamentals will lead you to a fresh, dewy, blemish-free complexion.

Sun Protection

Sunscreen is recommended year round, but especially in summer to avoid that leathery, toasted look to the skin. Use a minimum SPF 15 protection not only on your face, but anywhere skin is exposed. Don't forget your neck, chest, and the back of your hands. Wear sunglasses to avoid squinting and deepening the lines around your eyes.

Make Up

With fresh looking, healthy skin to start, you can keep your makeup simple. Choose pink or coral lipstick, natural blush and soft eye shadows. Use bronzer if you need a touch of color. You can also lightly dust blush on your cheeks, chin and forehead for a warm, healthy glow. Adding highlights to your hair will make it seem as though you've spent a lot of time in the sun.

One thing I love about the "California Look" is how little time it takes -- just a few minutes of skin care at night, and a few minutes of makeup in the morning. But the real beauty is: the good skin care habits outlined above will also protect you against needless visible aging!

Promise yourself to :
*Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. * Talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.* Make all your friends feel that there is something in them.*Look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.* Think only of the best, to work only for the best and expect only the best. * Be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.* Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.* Wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.* Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.* Be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble

Things That A Perfect Guy Would Do

1. Know how to make you smile when you are down
2. Try to secretly smell your hair, but you always notice.
3. Stick up for you, but still respect your independence.
4. Give you the remote control during the game.
5. Come up behind you and put his arms around you.
6. Play with your hair.
7. His hands always find yours.
8. Be cute when he really wants something.
9. Offer you plenty of massages.
10. Dance with you, even if he feels like a dork.
11. Never run out of love.
12. Be funny, but know when to be serious.
13. Realize he's being funny when he needs to be serious.
14. Be patient when you take forever ! to get ready.
15. React so cutely when you hit him and it actually hurts.
16. Smile a lot.
17. Plans a romantic date full of cheesy things he wouldn't normally like
to do, just b/c he knows it means a lot to you.
18. Appreciate you.
19. Help others out.
20. Drive 5 hours just to see you for 1.
21. Always gives you a peck on the cheek when you depart from each  others company, even when his friends are watching.
22. Sing, even if he can't.
23. Have a creative sense of humor.
24. Stare at you.

25. Call for no reason.
26. Quit smoking, chewing, drinking, or drugs-Just because he loves you
that much to quit it.

10 ways to flatter your figure

  1. Minimize curves. A medium-length, double-breasted suit disguises big breasts and hips.

  2. Accentuate curves. A halter dress makes an athletic physique more voluptuous.

  3. Elongate your body. A pinstripe suit creates a vertical optical illusion, making you appear taller and thinner.

  4. Conceal your butt. A cover-up blazer hides your behind and gives you the confidence to wear a body-fitting dress.

  5. Disguise big breasts. A cropped jacket diverts attention from a busty upper body by emphasizing the waist.

  6. Hide your tummy. An A-line dress and matching coat are instantly chic and can camouflage a multitude of sins.

  7. Slim the body. A single-button jacket with long pants has an overall slenderizing effect.

  8. Cover thighs. A long jacket with slim pants is thoroughly modern, yet covers you waist to knee.

  9. Feminize a boyish frame. A long-sleeved T-shirt and fitted pencil skirt makes a skinny, petite body more shapely.

  10. Lengthen a shorter torso. A white shirt worn half unbuttoned and over pants extends the upper body.

how to keep romance in your love life

Remember what your early days of dating were like?—the planning, the surprises, the dressing up? At least once a month, set aside an evening or weekend that belongs to the two of you alone. No kids, no relatives, no co-workers or friends. Such mini-renewals keep your passion on the front burner, affirming on a continued basis that your soul has indeed found its twin. Curiously, these ongoing “dates” serve a second important purpose: to take the “pressure of perfection” off the really big occasions in couple’s lives. For instance, how many partners have by and large ignored each other for 51 weeks, then taken off for an anniversary in the Hawaiian Islands…only to grouse at each other for seven days because of rainy weather, slow waiters, traffic, indigestion, or incompatible expectations?

Whether your relationship is still new or you’ve been together a long time, it’s never too late to start incorporating romantic “traditions” in your daily routine. Something as simple as bringing your partner his/her first cup of coffee in the morning or allocating time at the start of each evening to share the events of your respective days can be the emotional “glue” that keeps couples close.

No amount of roses can make up for shoddy behavior or cruel words. If you want to make things right again, you need to talk and to commit to addressing the problems which initiated the fight. Nor should lavish purchases ever be viewed as obligations on the part of the giver or expectations on the part of the receiver. To regard roses or gifts in the context of a “debt owed” diminishes not only the individuals but the value of the relationship itself.
